Appreciate One Another

Often one hidden mistake we ALL make from time to time is, we fail to take a moment out of the day to 'appreciate' each other.  Sometimes we never get that moment back, and, as a result, it never comes around again.  Let's appreciate one another.  Costs nothing.

Whatever you have been assigned to do (toward building up the Kingdom), do it quickly, quietly, with ALL your might!  While we have the chance.  Like Joshua said, "Let's go up at once!"  Make effort to complete your task(s) toDAY, while it is day(light), for night is fast approaching, when NO man can work.  For GREAT is your reward!  Do it now!

Who's RULING You??

The greater attention you give to someone or some thing, can become the "god" over you.  It begins to 'rule' you, to 'reign' over you.  Before long, it 'consumes' you.


Sometimes we give in to little spurts of fear, fearful of our future, our children, our jobs in the workplace.  Worry, worrying about tomorrow, about bill-paying, worrying about our health.   Stress can take its toll.  Stressing out over small menial things that we allow to become monstrosities.  Anger sometimes can step in and rule.  (Still) angry over things that did or did not happen in our past.  Anger over things we have no control of.  Anger that eats its way to unforgiveness.   Manipulation creeps in.  Lies and greed begin to surface and lead.  Lead to dishonesty, and more.


The question now is, "What or Who is RULING You?"


The Bible says, "...let the peace of God rule your heart".  God's peace can settle, stamp out, destroy any one or anything that rises or creeps up in our hearts.  Let's face it, day to day issues we face can easily influence and affect our way of thinking, even our faith.  But God's peace can cut right to the core (older people used to say, "right to the quick"), and quiet any storm, if (when) we allow it.


Let's allow 'God's peace' to rule our hearts.  We win.

Greater Appreciation

I visited the beautiful city of San Juan, Puerto Rico recently. Beautiful weather, beautiful culture, wonderful and friendly people, rich history, well-preserved buildings. I have acquired a greater appreciation for my Latino-African-Indian blooded brothers and sisters. How we all in general share a common bond, common thread, same blood. Amazing experience. GREETINGS To ALL

I haven't had the moment to graciously greet and hail all my readers on the beautiful and blessed TWENTY-TWELVE we're embarking upon. Of course, we're human, and don't have a 'clue' to what lies ahead. "BUT GOD" is a 2-worded theme I hold dearly and so close to my heart as I forge, sometimes plow my way thru. As I lift up my glass and make a prayerful and collective 'toast to YOU', I'd like to foresightedly declare all the way thru to December 31, 2012, "May you receive God's BETTER for your life this year". When God does things, He's so BIG and BAD that He "out-does" Himself. So He stands to give us "better" this year, than the good we even experienced last year 2011. Can you understand this? Better days ahead, better health, better love for one another, better time spent with your family and loved ones, better relationships, better finances, better money management, better attitudes, better altitudes, better trust (in Him), a better to 'serve', better conversations, better walk before Him, better giving, better committment, better outlook, better structure and order in our homes, better understanding, better expectations, better careers, better networkings, better clients, better connections. . . just "BETTER" in 2012! Now raise your glass, Here-here!!
